Sanctuary Spa Illuminating Whipped Moisture Crème
I’ve never tried any skincare from Sanctuary but I had ran out of day cream and wanted to try something a little different. I’ve really been enjoying using this moisturising cream because it really adds a boost of hydration to the skin. My skin can sometimes be dry but since using this my face has stayed nice and hydrated. It contains hydrating shea butter, pink pomelo and kakadu plum for radiance and brightening as well as a high source of Vitamin C. I use this as a day cream as the formula isn’t too thick, works well under makeup and contains an SPF 15. Because this cream is whipped it feels really luxurious when applied and in my opinion it does make my skin look more radiant.
Good Things total wipeout Raspberry and cranberry face wipes
If you’ve read my previous blog posts you will know I’m a big fan of the Good Things range. I haven’t used make up wipes in a long time and usually remove my makeup with a liquid remover or coconut oil but if I’m honest wipes make it so much easier to remove eye makeup. These smell great and contain superfruit extracts raspberry and cranberry as well as aloe vera and vitamin E making them gentle enough for sensitive skin. Not much more I can really say about a makeup wipe they just do the job and get rid of any traces of eye make up. They don’t irritate my eyes but I wouldn’t recommend using this all over the skin though as when I used these to remove my foundation before cleansing they made my skin a little red.
Tangerine body scrub
I mentioned this scrub in my Easter post but now I’ve tried it I’m even more impressed. As I said this was from a stall that sold homemade bath products and I paid just £2 for a huge carrot shaped scrub ( I’ve used it twice generously but I still have loads left)The scrub is made of sugar and smells like sweet tangerines. It left my skin feeling super smooth and I just hope I will be able to repurchase something like this again.
Superdrug BB Cream.
I really love BB creams especially in the warmer weather as they are lightweight and allow my skin to breathe This is very hydrating and gives the amount of coverage you would expect from a BB cream. I do think this is one of the best BB creams I’ve used and find it much better than the Rimmel or Maybelline BB creams I used before going cruelty free. As it is with most BB creams there’s not a great selection of colours and it comes in only light and medium. I’m not very pale so this is fine for me but if you do have very fair skin stay clear of the medium.
What are your monthly favourites this month?
