So the sun has started to make a much welcomed appearance and even if it’s still freezing cold I think it’s time for me to transition into spring makeup. A serious spring makeup haul is needed but for now I’m just using the products I already own, so if you follow my blog you may have seen a few of these items before.
I love the fresh faced look for spring and usually reach for peachy colours. My spring makeup look tends to be much more natural compared to the berry lip of autumn and winter and the bronze and brights of summer.
Urban decay -Freelove
As I mentioned in my shadow box post I think freelove is the perfect colour for spring. It’s a pink with a slight peachy tone and shimmer.
Ted Baker Mascara and Soap and Glory Supercat eyeliner
Soap and Glory Supercat is my favourite liquid eyeliner because of the intensity of the black and the easiness to apply.
I think this Ted Baker mascara is good for the spring because it gives a more natural finish but still has impressive results on the lashes.
MUA matte perfection foundation and B. Radiant under eye concealer
I raved about this foundation in one of my posts but overtime I’ve realised this can make my skin a little dry. I love the foundation so what I did was add a bit of moisturiser to the foundation and mixed them which also created a more dewy look as well as combating any dryness. If you have any foundations that you think are drying using this trick really does work.
I love this concealer it gives a good coverage and the brush application is really handy. I use it under the eyes and also on any blemishes and it works just fine.
Model co Creme rouge cheek and lip
This duel use lip and cheek rouge in the shade- Just Peachy gives a lovely flushed peach colour to the cheeks and is easy to blend as the formula is very creamy.
I love using this on the lips too as its long lasting and adds a nice stain to go under lipgloss or balm.
Inika mineral bronzer (in Sunkissed)
This mineral bronzer is great for adding a lovely sunkissed glow to the skin. It contains tiny specks of shimmer which is good if you want to add a little bit of subtle shimmer to the face without looking like a disco ball. 😛 This product can also be used for face contouring but I tend to just use it on the cheekbones.
MUA eyeliner (in Brunette)
This is a good product for a pound, it’s the perfect colour for my brows and the pencil is creamy and has great pigmentation.
However I do think you need a light hand to make sure your eyebrows don’t look to drawn on.
What I really do love about this product is the spool at the end which is really useful for taming your brows.
Burts Bees lip balm
I’m a big fan of the Burt’s Bees lip balms as I find them to be the most nourishing. This one contains pomegranate oil and smells gorgeous.
Brushes
Left to right
Pantone blusher brush. I got a set of Pantone brushes as a gift this christmas and my favourite is the blusher brush. It’s really soft and has zero bristle fall out.
Eco tools eye perfecting brush. This brush is great for covering up dark circles and the shape makes it really easy for concealer precision under the eyes.
Eco tools Eye enhancing brush. This is one half of the eye enchancing duo set. This is the blend and smudge brush and it’s super soft on the eyelids and does a really great job of blending your eyeshadow.
Eco Tools Stippling Brush. I’ve mentioned this before and I really love this brush. It replaced my beauty blender and is far superior in my opinion. This is perfect for achieving natural looking, flawless foundation
What products will you be using this spring?
I’m loving all the spring looks! The pink looks so fresh!

Model Co is one of my favorites for blushes I like the color you shared. I’m holding out hope for a new kit from It Cosmetics. They tend to come out with one every season and I’m thinking they will have one soon. 🙂

I haven’t used any It cosmetics but would like to give them a try, what would you recommend? x

But if I had to pick my absolute favs it would be their Brow Power EyeBrow pencil and their Bye Bye Pores. Love both. I can’t do my brows without the Brow Power and the Bye Bye Pores is just the softest things you can put on your skin. 🙂
The only product I’ve tried from them that I didn’t like was their mascara. It’s very popular, but not for me.
